Image taken by Orlando Luminere with a
Voigtlander Bessa and 15mm lens

The two leading Japanese camera magazines, Asahi and Nippon Magazines
are full of the Bessa 4A/M they also mention the 21mm f4P and the 25mm f4P lenses.

Part of their review says:

"This is definitely a WIDE ANGLE camera. The 21/25/28mm frame lines look great.
The 21mm frame is a bit near the edge of the "box" and if you wear
glasses you may have to move your eye around slightly to see the edges.
The reviewer said that the frame itself remained visible to him. But it's obviously a close
thing with the frame so near the edge. But it will be nice to have lots of space
around the 28mm frame, and be able to frame subjects as they move into and out of the frame.

I like the idea of a parallax corrected 21mm frame and I've fancied trying a 25mm lens
for some time. The two new lenses are very highly rated, "rave" reviews, in fact.
The new 25mm has rangefinder coupling. I don't miss the lack of rangefinder
coupling on the Bessa L which I use with my 21mm lens, but would be nice to have...
and the automatic parallax compensation takes some of the uncertainty of the RF finder away,
which can only be a step in the right direction.

Both lenses have a "P" ( for pancake) designation and are very compact. In fact one of the sales
points is that neither impinges on the area defined by the viewfinder bright lines.

This excerpt was taken from articles in both Asahi and Nippon Photographic magazines.
