If your Compur, Copal, Speed Graphic, Prontor or any other shutter needs attention why not send it to us? Most problems are fixable at a reasonable cost. Shutters with little visible wear are worthwhile fixing. Our technician will disassemble and check your shutter for cleaning and re-lubricating while leaving  the factory settings un disturbed wherever practical.

All functions like bulb, time and others speeds are checked and reset.

This shutter CLA will cost less than AU$95.00 plus parts if required. Return postage is $8.00 within Australia.

Shutters which have been "through the mill" so to speak will often require more work. In these instances our technician will often be able to restore the factory settings and replace and broken or worn parts. In this case the charge will be $125.00-150.00 or more plus the cost of parts. Some really badly damaged shutters cannot be economically repaired. In which case we can supply new replacement Copal shutters at very competitive prices.

Camera Repairs

We can also repair almost any non digital photographic equipment. Products like

large format cameras, 35mm reflex and rangefinder cameras.

Repair Guarantee

Clean, Lubricate and Adjust (CLA) repairs are guaranteed for 90 days from date of collection or return to customer. If the shutter or camera fails within this period it may be returned for warranty repair. Please contact us prior to shipping. Include a copy of the original repair invoice with the goods. Return postage is the customers responsibility.

A Word to the Wise!

Idleness is a camera or shutter's worst enemy. Please keep in mind that this type of equipment loves to be exercised. Leaving the camera or shutter unused for any length of time allows for the lubricants to gum up and harden, dust to settle and fungus and moisture to collect.
