With the dedicated mount it can be used on any Leica M camera or any other body that uses the M bayonet mount. If you own a Leica M8 digital camera, this is the lens for you. It gives the equivalent of a 21mm lens when used on the M8.  With it's dedicated M mount and rangefinder coupling it is ideal for accurate focusing on the Leica M8.
