Voigtlander Bessa R2-m Camera Body (Gloss black)
Like all Voigtlanders, the Bessa R2-M was created with the traditional photographers, who wants total control over their photography, in mind. The Bessa R3-M is similar in appearance to all the other models but has 35mm, 50mm, 75mm and 90mm frames in the viewfinder/rangefinderr. The R2-M has a fully mechanical shutter which will operate at all speeds in case of (rare) battery failure. Due the different shutter there is no aparture priority mode.
The vertical travel metal focal plane shutter has speeds from 1-1/2000th sec as well as a "B" (time exposure) setting. The TTL (Through the lens) exposure meter provides accurate exposures even under demanding light conditions.
Focusing is achieved by the extremely bright rangefinder/viewfinder combination. This is possibly the easiest system to use for candid photographs under dim light conditions. If you are an enthusiastic and traditional photographer you can not go past the Bessa range of cameras.
